Chief Animation Director, Kinema Citrus

Masahiro SUWA started drawing when he was young “out of boredom.” He drew the characters from Dragon Ball quite often. Drawing then naturally became his job when he grew up “without noticing that fact myself.”

His impressive career as a Chief Animation Director includes: The Rising of the Shield Hero series where he also did the character designing, Chaika the Coffin Princess, and Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul. He worked as the Main Animator in Under the Dog, a Kickstarter crowdfunded project that was released to the backers in 2016.

He also works as an illustrator, with two novel series published in 2023 from KADOKAWA and Overlap.
