In
the style of Masquerade Balls of Olde, The Moonlight Ball invites you
to an evening of dancing, revelry, and grandeur.
The Moonlight Ball will open it's doors Saturday at 10pm in the Plaza Ballroom of the Doubletree Hotel. Guests will be invited to relax and partake in an evening of Medeival and Renaissance group dances, led by everyone’s favourite Lord and Lady of Ye Olden Dance, Darius and Lynette. These fun follow along dances will even make a first timer feel like a pro. After 1am, hard core dancing, partying and rocking out until close!

Tickets for the Moonlight Masquerade are now SOLD OUT.
There are only 350 tickets available for this year.
The increase in price is due to a requirement that we have the event catered.
There will be a selection of yummy nibbles and refreshments available
for you. We think you'll be pleased. There will also be a cash bar available
for soda and other beverages. If you have special dietary needs, please
email masqueradeball@animenorth.com

Prepaid tickets can be picked up at the convention. You will receive a confirmation number from registration which you must bring to the convention in order to receive your ticket from the Masquerade Desk. You must have your name badge on at all times at the ball. Bring your badge and ticket to the ball, your badge will be marked.
This year we're expanding the dancing portion of the programme, bringing back old favourites as well as adding a few new tunes. We're also adding new games and contests. In addition, we will have a decorated set avaliable for you to pose and take your own pictures.
Dress Code for the Moonlight Ball at Anime North
Here are some general guidelines to consider when deciding what to wear
for the ball
- No Jeans
- No T-shirts
- No Fatigues
- No Bikinis
- Clean, presentable footwear.
- Please do not wear costumes that are obstructive to others (such as large wings or full mechs).
- Please do not bring any weapons or large props.
- Costumes encouraged!
- Yes, Fancy dress and masks are always apropriate. :)

skill level.
