Gallery Momiji
Home of the Anime North Art Showいらっしゃいませ~!ギャラリー紅葉へようこそ! • Welcome to Gallery Momiji!
Back for its 17th sensational year is the Anime North Art Show!
With brilliant anime-themed artwork from prospective and professional artists alike, along with beautiful displays of kimono and costumes, this is one show not to be missed! Located in Hall D of the Toronto Congress Centre, we have plenty of room to showcase these amazing pieces of 2-D and 3-D artwork. You can find brand-new displays, our special Gallery Store, and even bid for your favourite piece in our Art Auction.
This year, we are proud to welcome the return of a special exhibition of samurai arms, armour, and artifacts, guest-curated by Marie-Josée Cayer.

Display space must be reserved in advance; registration for the Art Show will not taken on site.
Artists who need to pick up their work before 3:00 p.m. on Sunday are asked to inform Gallery Momiji staff before they check in. Anime North will not be responsible for artwork unclaimed by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday unless prior arrangements have been made.
Art Auction
Like what you see in the gallery? Wish you could take a piece of art home? Well, you can by taking part in Anime North's Art Auction! First, register to bid at the gallery's information desk and then take a chance and bid on displayed artwork in the silent auction, but be warned: the most popular pieces end up going to the live auction on Sunday morning, and if you're not careful, you could find yourself in an all-out bidding war!
The Art Auction will be held on Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. in Gallery Momiji. Click here for the Art Auction rules.
If you have registered as a bidder in the Art Auction but are unable to pick up your purchase on Sunday (i.e., you have registered to attend on Saturday only), then arrangements may be made at the discretion of the Gallery Director for you to purchase the artwork immediately after the close of Gallery Momiji on Saturday night. Otherwise, you may appoint a proxy to pick up and pay for your purchased artwork on Sunday by giving them a note of authorization and your bidder paddle.
If a piece of art that you bid on goes to the live auction on Sunday morning but you cannot attend (again, in the case that you are attending the convention on Saturday only), then you may appoint a proxy to bid on your behalf by giving them a note of authorization and your bidder paddle.
In either of these cases, please notify the Gallery Momiji Director at your earliest convenience.
If a winner fails to remit payment for a piece won at auction, then their contact information may be given to the artist so that they can arrange for payment and shipping of the item.
Gallery Store
Couldn't get that one special piece of art because someone outbid you in the auction? Well, have no fear, because the Gallery Store provides a wide selection of reproductions of some of the best artwork created by Anime North's artists.
