Convention Hours
Anime North 2013 will run over the weekend of May 24-26, 2013. Convention hours are:

On Friday, the Dealers' Room will open early, at 5 PM.
Note to US Visitors:
As of June 1, 2009 visitors to Canada from the United States will be required to show federal identification documents in the form of a passport, permanent resident (green) card, or a Nexus card. Location
Anime North 2013 will be held at the Toronto Congress Center, 650 Dixon Road, and at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel, 655 Dixon Road (directly across the street). Additional events will be held at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel 801 Dixon Road (formerly The Renaissance), west of the Doubletree across the highway bridge). Daily parking is free at the Toronto Congress Center. A shuttle bus will be running a circuit between the TCC, Doubletree, and Sheraton Hotel at half-hour intervals during peak convention times. In addition, many of the hotels in the area also provide complimentary shuttles to the TCC.

Arriving by the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission)
There are three suggested routes using Toronto public transit:
- Take the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line to Lawrence West station. Transfer to the westbound 58 Malton bus (any branch - 58/58A/58B/58D), and get off at City View Drive for TCC & Doubletree, or Atwell Drive for the Sheraton. Note that this route can get crowded during the day. Travel time is about 40 minutes from Lawrence West station.
- Take the Bloor-Danforth subway line to Kipling station. Transfer to the northbound 46 Martin Grove bus, and get off at Dixon Road. The Doubletree and TCC are about a 5-10 minute walk west of this stop. This option is less crowded during peak hours, but after 10 PM the 46 Martin Grove only bus runs every 30 minutes. Travel time is about 20 minutes from Kipling Station.
- Take the Bloor-Danforth subway line to Kipling station. Transfer to the northbound 112C West Mall (do not take the 112A/112D), and get off at Dixon Road. The Sheraton is across the street from this stop, and the Doubletree and TCC are a 5 minute walk east along Dixon Road. This bus runs more frequently than the 46 Martin Grove after 10PM on Friday night, however the 112C West Mall stops running after 10PM Saturday, and 7PM Sunday. The travel time from Kipling Station is about 20-25 minutes.
Please check the TTC website prior to the convention to confirm when the first/last buses run each day.

The hotel features 60,000 square feet of meeting space, an indoor water park with two giant waterslides, a giant hot tub, sauna, pool, and kids splash pad, a games room, and a state of the art fitness facility. Dining facilities include Ginko's Traditional Japanese Restaurant, the Orchid Cafe, Alfredo's Italian Restaurant and Grand Chinese Cuisine. Please note that reservations for the convention weekend must be for two nights. Also, due to a large number of Friday cancellations in 2012, there will be a one night penalty cost for reservations cancelled less then 24 hours before arrival. The Doubletree Hotel now requires photo ID& from anyone checking into a room. Student IDs and Health cards are acceptable.
