Anime North Admission Badge Mailout

There have been some changes to the Badge Mailout from 2016:

  • Badges will now be mailed out with lanyards, due to popular request
  • Badges will be mailed out by registered mail, instead of sent by courier, due to problems we had with courier delivery last year
  • To accomodate these changes, the mailing fee has been increased to $22.50

Anime North now provides admission purchasers in Canada the option of having their admission badges and lanyards mailed out to them before the convention. All admission badges in a single order will be sent to a single address and contact person; this information must be provided when the order is purchased. They will be sent by registered mail. Note: t-shirts/pins, or Special Event tickets must still be picked up at the con.

Deadline for requesting a Badge Mailout is April 21. This is also the deadline for requesting a refund of a order that has selected the Badge Mailout Option.

 

Once badges have been mailed out, Anime North does not accept any further responsibility regarding them. It will be up to the purchaser to receive and distribute them.

Note: Badge mailing is not available to US addresses. It is available only to Canadian attendees at this time.

Badge mailouts will take place 2-3 weeks before the convention. The contact persons who will be receiving the badges will be notified directly by email, and through announcements on the Anime North website and through our social media as to when the mailout takes place. 

 

To select this option, on the Anime North Registration online website on Eventbrite, when purchasing your admissions, also select the Anime North Badges Mailout Fee ($22.50 + Eventbrite processing fee). When completing the online form, at the bottom, you will be asked to provide a contact name, valid mailing address, email and phone number and also to confirm that you have read the conditions of selecting the mailing option.

 

At the convention, attendees who have been mailed their badges do not need to stand in the main Registration Desk lineup (which only hands out admission badges). They can pickup their program books/schedules from the Registration Handout Desk in Hall A.

Note:


  • The mailing option must be selected when the admissions are purchased. It cannot be applied to admissions already purchased. 

  • Anime North will only re-mail admission badges if the delivery bounces back to us in the mail. The purchaser will be required to submit a new mailing fee.

  • It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide a full, valid, mailing address, email and phone number at which he/she can be contacted.

  • Purchasers' must also provide a valid telephone number that can be used to contact them if there is any problem with delivery

  • The mailing option is only available in Canada - we cannot mail to U.S. addresses
