Guest Update: Hitomi Nabatame

Tuesday, 28 April 2015 11:02

Anime North is pleased to welcome Japanese voice actress Hitomi Nabatame, best known as the voice of Mana Aida, or Cure Heart, in Dokidoki! Precure, Mikoto Suo in School Rumble, Arcueid Brunestud in Lunar Legend Tsukihime, Kazusa Touma in White Album 2: Shiawase no Mukogawa, Margery Daw in Shakugan no Shana, and Cindy Campbell in Squid Girl to the convention this year.

Message from Hitomi Nabatame

Hello everyone, nice to meet you. I'm a voice actress, my name is Hitomi Nabatame. Mai Goto, who participated in this event last year, told me, "Canada is a wonderful place, the event was a lot of fun". So even though I'm nervous to go somewhere I haven't been before, I'm looking forward to it! I think it's so great that all of us who live in different places and speak different languages get to meet through anime. I loved acting, but somehow ended up in voice acting. I'm happy and surprised that that one step I took has grown so much. Sometimes I get letters from oversea fans, but I rarely get to meet them, which is why I'm so grateful to have this opportunity. I know there are a lot of people who don't know me. It would be great if more people could get to know myself and other Japanese voice actors through this event. I hope I can have a great time with everyone! Thank you.
