Sara E. Mayhew

Mangaka and owner of Ztarr Manga Studio, Sara E. Mayhew is the writer and
illustrator of the international award-winning independent manga series Secrets of Sorcerers. Canada's graphic arts magazine, Applied Arts, featured Mayhew in their Young Blood article on 'rising talent commanding our attention'. She has worked with big-name Canadian publishers such as Rubicon Publishing and Owl Kids, illustrating for ChickaDEE magazine's special Japan issue, and for the educational graphic novel "The First Emperor" distributed by Scholastic.

Born in Kirkland Lake, ON, Mayhew grew up on Masters of the Universe, Star Trek TNG, Star Wars and all things 'geeky'. This lead to Mayhew's work being influenced into the genres of fantasy, sci-fi, and sword & sorcery. Secrets of Sorcerers Vol 1 is Mayhew's successful, independently published graphic novel which is also available in webmanga format. Mayhew's newest manga series, Love Pet, is also available online.
