PETER FERNANDEZ
The voices of Speed Racer, Racer X and many of the villains in the original classic 52 episodes.
Peter also wrote and directed the English version of the entire series.
He wrote the well known lyrics of the famous theme song "Go, Speed Racer, Go!"
He also wrote and directed the dialogue for all 78 episodes of Marine Boy as well as voiced many of the roles.
He wrote many of the scripts for Astroboy and Gigantor and on the latter did many of the voices.
Peter wrote and directed the English version of the classic 39 episodes of Ultraman.
Directed the dialog of all 100 stories of Courage the Cowardly Dog as well as voiced many of the horrific villains.
Other series on which Peter worked were Space Giants, Star Blazers, Kenny the Shark, Galaxy Rangers and Princess Gwenever and the Jewel Riders.
Peter made his acting debut as a child in the Broadway production of Whiteoaks and then toured with the show throughout the US and Canada.
He went on to many more Broadway plays, appeared on just about every radio show emanating from New York City and then after a stint in the US Army took the lead in the Hollywood film City Across the River.
His writing career began with selling adventure stories to the pulp magazines and then radio and television scripts.
Currently he is recording the voice track for a new Speed Racer animated series which takes place 35 years after the original 52. The big surprise as to what part he is playing - and fan will never guess it - will be announced at this year's Anime North!!!!!
