Expert Guest: Traditional Animator

Born in quebec and schooled at Sheridan Mr CÉCYRE is returning for his third visit to Anime North.

Based in the Ottawa area he has worked for Atkinson's Films, Hinton, Lacewood Productions, Fundbag Animation Studios, Dynomight Cartoons and is currently uprating his skills to include computer animation. His tasks included Sheet direction, posing, storyboards, assistant-animation and animation and some supervision. The projects included Teddy Ruxpin, Dennis the menace, The Racoons, The Nutracker Prince, Papyrus, Monster Force, For Better or For Worse, Blazing Dragons, Watership Down, Tales from the Cryptkeeper, Magic School Bus, Neverending Story, Pink Panther, Ace Ventura, Arsene Lupin, , The Critic, Sniz and Fondue, Spicy city and quite a few more. Aside from discussing his favourite series (and bashing a few things he abhors) he can be found discussing the merits of various forms of animations and the various aspects of film making, censorship, and other aspects of the creative process..
