The Go tables are returning to Anime North, all-con-long just like last year!
Originating in China and popularized by the recent manga/anime series Hikaru No Go, Go (Igo/Weiqi/Baduk) is actually one of the world’s oldest board games – probably the oldest still played today. Drop by the Go tables in the International Lobby to learn and enjoy the game. New and experienced players of all skill levels are welcome – stronger players are encouraged to help teach.
This year we will be following basically the same format as in 2005, but with a bit more space and more take-home information available. We’ll hopefully have problem books on hand, and are planning to add another tournament for a total of three.
